Since the start of the “Five Star Stories” series, the response had exceeded the creator’s, Nagano Mamoru, expectations as its author, resulting in the release of an unprecedented number of garage kits, and the many questions, encouragements, and criticisms he has received from fans. This has left him feeling both bewildered and delighted. “Five Star Stories” is a very unique work. For example, its twice-sized size compared to a regular comic, the reveal of its story, the extensive list of designs, and the confusing setting have led to confusion outside of the author’s knowledge and various incomprehensible problems. This, too, is entirely due to the author’s carelessness. Despite this, many people have been intrigued by the numerous names, designs, and setting illustrations that appear throughout the work, and many readers have found the book to be deeply moving. Characters 1 – Mirage was created to clear up the confusion and respond to the interest of fans. Therefore, Mamoru has made changes to the colors and reconsidered the Roman spelling, and although there may be differences from what was previously released, he has finally completed a complete character sheet. The first volume mainly includes Amaterasu and the Mirage Knights, but a second volume will include the Chorus Royal Family, and a third volume is planned for release, in hopes that it will be useful as a reference for making kits and costumes.
